Pennsylvania operator certification exams will be offered in 2012. In consultation with the State Board of Certification for Water and Wastewater System Operators, PA DEP will be providing 800 exams through their approved exam providers. Also, by July 2012 they proprose to expand the exams to another 150 through their online testing program (that was piloted several years ago). PA DEP reserved the right to hold 5 seats at each session to allow for persons needing to take the test related to specific compliance issues rectified by certification. An exam schedule should be posted to the PA DEP website by February 1, 2012, as well as their approved exam providers' websites. This presentation is just a starting point, she is working on expanded it to include so many more drinking water topics.

We are offering the classroom style of the PA DEP mandatory "Securing Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities" workshop at numerous locations throughout Pennsylvania. We charge a flat rate for on-site training and accept up to 25 attendees in each class. As part of our training services to you, we will provide the instructor, course materials, and a Penn State Continuing Education certificate for each participant. Scheduling on-site training can significantly reduce operator training costs by eliminating travel expenses and lowering the fee paid per workshop by individual registrants.
