Certification Academy
The Environmental Training Center in cooperation with PA American Water Works Association, Water Works Operator Association, Central PA Water Quality Association, PA State Association of Boroughs and PA Rural Water Association hold an Operator Certification Academy at our Penn State Harrisburg location the third week of August. Developed from the DEP certification modules, the preparation sessions are designed for students who would like a structured review prior to the exam. The Academy is a series of workshops offered over a five day period including tracks for drinking water and wastewater as well as a session on study tips and test taking strategies. The courses are applicable to beginners but can be used as a refresher to the season operator and potentially as DEP continuing education contact hours.
