Audiovisual Requests

  • Please provide as much advance notice as possible.

  • Try to schedule yourself into a room which already has what you need. See our Room Catalog (PDF) or Guide to Event Spaces at PSH (PDF) for a list of equipment in each room on campus.

  • Please become familiar with the equipment in the room before you need it. ITS will provide training on request.

  • College-wide events or programs with external audiences can request assistance from a Marketing Associate for select services, including room and lighting setup and presentation and sound checks.

  • If your event is off campus, please contact the Audiovisual Resources Group at the location you will be visiting. ITS does not provide equipment for use off campus.

  • ITS does not have laptops/computers to loan for events.

  • If you will need a computer and projector for an entire semester, see our Room Catalog (PDF) and contact Enrollment Services at x6021 to schedule an appropriate room.

About Specific Requests

COMPUTERS, PROJECTORS, and INTERNET
With few exceptions, all rooms on campus are permanently set up with computers, projectors, laptop connectors, Internet connections, and wireless Internet connections. See our Room Catalog (PDF) for information about specific rooms.

VIDEO AND AUDIO PLAYBACK
DVDs and VCRs do not need to be requested. DVD/CDs can be played on the computers in any room. Computer Speakers and CD Players do not need to be requested. CDs can be played on the computers in any room. Almost all rooms now have computer speakers; please contact ITS if you find a room without computer speakers.

VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDING
Digital Camcorders and Digital Audio Recorders are available for checkout at the PSH Library. (Note that the campus does not provide videotaping service, audio recording service, or media; we simply provide the equipment.)

Auditorium PA System (4 mics max, any combo of handheld and lapel)
CUB Gym PA System (4 mics max, handheld only)
CUB Student Center PA System (2 mics max, 2 handhelds OR 1 handheld and 1 lapel)
Gallery Lounge PA System (2 mics max, 2 handhelds OR 1 handheld and 1 lapel)
Morrison Gallery PA System (4 mics max, at most 2 lapel mics)
Portable PA System (4 mics max) (specify room at bottom of page)
Special Events Room E139 PA System (1 handheld mic OR 1 lapel mic)

NOTES
  • Stacks Stage can be set up with basic microphones — not a professional sound system. If you have a professional act scheduled for this location or anywhere else on campus please have them bring their own sound system.
  • The best sound system on campus is owned and operated by the Radio Station.
  • Specify microphone combination at bottom of page.
  • An AV Request does NOT automatically reserve a room; be sure to reserve your room.
  • The college does not have a PA system appropriate for use in musical events.
  • ITS does not record events; we simply assist by loaning out equipment.
