Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
The Fundamentals of Engineering exam is the next step required in pursuing Professional Engineering (PE) licensure after receiving a degree in a ABET-accredited engineering program. Students must have completed at least two years in an approved program to be eligible to take the exam. More information about the FE exam can be found at NCEES.
Associate Constructor (AC) Exam
The Associate Constructor (AC) designation recognizes the first step of the individual's progress toward achieving Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) status. SDCET students are eligible to take the exam in their last year of school. More information about the AC exam can be found here.
Graduate Studies
Students interested in graduate studies may pursue Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) in Engineering Science (E SC) at PSH. The program is designed to provide a broad, advanced education in the engineering sciences with some specialization permitted in the area of the student's major interest. It is offered specifically to permit practicing engineers to pursue advanced studies through evening classes while in full-time employment in industry.
