  • Fall 2014 commencement: share the moment through social media

    Students at Commencement

    Penn State Harrisburg will hold its fall commencement on Saturday, December 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the Giant Center, Hershey.  More than 580 degrees will be conferred at the ceremony.

    Commencement is a momentous occasion for graduating students, family and friends, and we are inviting you to capture memories and share congratulatory messages via Penn State Harrisburg’s social media platforms.

  • Swan receives E. Grosvenor Plowman Award with co-authors

    Dr. Peter Swan, associate professor of logistics and operations management in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Business Administration and Hummelstown, Pennsylvania resident, along with three co-authors, recently received the E. Grosvenor Plowman Award for the best research paper for their paper titled, "Exploring the Use of the Upper-Semi Variance as a Robust Estimator For Setting a Base Stock Inventory Policy" at the 2014 Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Educators Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

    Penn State Harrisburg will hold its fall commencement on Saturday, December 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the Giant Center, Hershey.  More than 580 degrees will be conferred at the ceremony.

    William M. Stout, chairman of the board and CEO of Gannett Fleming, Inc., will deliver the keynote address.   He was elected chairman and CEO in January 2008, making him responsible for all operations of Gannett Fleming and its subsidiaries.
