Thursday, March 15 In 2002, Ramsdell formed Under the Hood Productions with the goal of creating films that combine art and activism. He has won Best Screenplay at the Universal Studios Cinema City Film Festival and numerous other awards and has been featured on news CNN.com, NPR, and FOXnews. Over the past two years, he has screened films and spoken at more than 100 campuses, discussing the human mechanisms responsible for “hateful” actions and how they can be overcome. |

Wednesday, April 11 Professional musicians who have been performing extensively in Philadelphia and the surrounding tri-state area since 1981, Eboni Strings has performed with Patti Labelle, Natalie Cole, Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Smokey Robinson, George Benson, and Barry White, and appeared in the PBS special “Love Train: The Sound of Philadelphia.” The members also pride themselves on being music educators and mentors who mold the children of today to become the musicians of tomorrow. |

Tuesday, April 17 Welsh is associate professor of communications and humanities at Penn State Harrisburg and the principal of a successful design studio in Lancaster, Pa. His studio work has been published in more than 50 publications and has been recognized in some of the world’s most competitive international advertising and creative design competitions. Welsh volunteers for non-profit boards of directors and initiatives, and founded Society of Design, a non-profit dedicated to multidisciplinary education and community service. |
