Federal Work-Study is a student financial aid program for eligible undergraduate and graduate students with high financial need.
Work-Study allows you to earn money to cover a portion of your educational expenses by working within your college or campus, a University office, or an off-campus, non-profit organization.
Federal Work-Study will not be credited towards your tuition bill. Work-Study recipients are paind every two weeks and earn at least minimum wage.
Positions available for the 2011-2012 academic year within Campus Life and Intercultural Affairs are:
Gallery AttendantThis is an evening position (5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday). Gallery duties include:
Be present during evening events and assist event facilitators;
- Ensure artwork in gallery is not mishandled; and
- Read and be prepared to answer questions about the exhibit and/or artist with information provided by CLIA.
CLIA Office Assistant
This is a daytime position (hours vary, Monday - Friday). Office assistant duties include:
- Answering phones
- Filing
- Post and maintain General Announcement bulletin boards
- Assist with special events
- Maintain Lost & Found database
- Provide assistance to staff and students
