Internationally known vocalist and artist Susan Leviton will perform Yiddish women’s songs a cappella in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge, Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7:00 p.m. Free and open to the public, the concert, "Women’s Voices in Yiddish Song," will be followed by a kosher reception.

Students looking to take a course or two over the summer can choose from a full range of undergraduate and graduate courses offered at Penn State Harrisburg. The first summer session runs May 14 to June 25; the second session runs June 27 to August 10. Registration now open.
The summer schedule offers flexible options to meet students’ needs, including consecutive course bundles, online delivery, courses at the Hershey Medical Center and Penn State York, a study tour, and programs for educators.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania State University and college athletics mourns the passing of Joseph V. Paterno, the winningest coach in the history of major college football.
Paterno, who turned 85 last month, passed away today (Jan. 22) surrounded by his family at Mount Nittany Medical Center, near the University Park campus. The legendary teacher, mentor and humanitarian had been diagnosed with lung cancer last November and recently had been hospitalized.
